Following the track ofThe Tainted SpiceinDune: Awakeningwon’t be easy, but the last part of this long series of missions for the Atreides faction is almost at its end. So, players should prepare in advance for this dangerous last task for Thufir Hawat.
In this guide, we cover everything players need to know before tracking down the fallen Delphis freighter, and delving into the dangerous Radioactive Zone to retrieve the shipment of poisoned Spice that is killing everybody in Arrakis.
Where to Find the Wreck of the Delphis in Dune Awakening?
To complete this quest, players will need to travel to Sheol, the dangerousRadioactive Zonein the westernmost part of Hagga Basin. Players shouldprepare a Radiation Suit and Iodine Pillsin advance. By following the marker, players will be able to locate the Wreck of the Delphis quite easily, but if they haven’t explored this area yet (or more precisely, used a Survey Probe on it) they will have issues navigating the Irradiated fields.
The location is right in the middle of the few rocky islands that appear in the middle of the Sheol, andaccessing it requires an Ornithopter. Don’t try to travel to this place by land, since there are two Sandworms constantly patrolling the zone, and players won’t have enough time to reach a safe place, since the rocky islands in this zone are quite far from each other. Are are a few steps to take into consideration to complete this quest with ease:
Once back in Arrakkeen, there’s only one thing left to do: Talk to Thufir Hawat once more, and complete the requirements to meet Duke Leto Atreides. Sing a compromise with the Atreides House, and there it is: Atreides Faction Rank Maxed out. It seems pretty simple, but considering that the quest item is tucked inside a PvP zone (and a radioactive one no less), things can get really complicated in various ways.
If players are attacked and die during the quest, they could be left stranded miles away from their Ornithopter, and that’s why players should always carry aVehicle Backup Tool with them.
