Plastanium Ingots are required to craft some of the strongest gear inDune: Awakening, but the materials required to create it can only be found in the most dangerous parts of Arrakis.Titanium OreandStravidium Fiberare the two primary crafting ingredients used in the creation of Plastanium Ingots, and you’ll need to visitDune: Awakening’s Deep Desert to gather them.

The Deep Desert is an endgame zone with PVP enabled for all players (barring a few safe zones), so you’ll need to make sure you’re prepared for the journey ahead. An Ornithopter is a must, and you should be prepared to face other players just in case anything goes wrong. There are some safe ways to farm Titanium Ore and Stravidium Fiber inDune: Awakening, though, so even solo players can get a taste of endgame materials and equipment.

How to Craft Plastinium Ingots in Dune: Awakening

To craft a Plastinium Ingot inDune: Awakening, you have to combine Titanium Ore, Stravidium Fiber, and Water in either a Medium or Large Refinery. Titanium Ore is harvested from gathering nodes in the Deep Desert, and Stravidium Fiber is crafted at a Chemical Refinery using Stravidium Mass also harvested from the Deep Desert.

If you’d rather avoid the PVP-enabled Deep Desert, then Plastinium Ingots can also be purchased from the Auction House atArrakeen or Harko Village. Materials listed on the Auction House come directly from other players, so supply and demand will vary depending on your server’s activity. It’s not the most efficient way to stock up on Plastanium, but it’s great if you need some in a pinch.

Where to Get Titanium and Stravidium in Dune: Awakening

Titanium Ore and Stravidium Mass can only be harvested in the Deep Desert,Dune: Awakening’s endgame PVP zone that refreshes weekly. A small portion of the Deep Desert is a PVE safe zone, but the vast majority of the sands are strictly PVP zones where players battle it out overlimited resources like Spice.

As you head further north into the Deep Desert, you’ll find higher quantities of resources and gathering nodes. This isn’t recommended unless you’re set up with a strong guild, though. The Deep Desert is dominated by large groups of players, so small squads and solo players should stick to the safer areas. You can still find Titanium and Stravidium deposits in the safe zones, anyway, it’ll just take a bit longer to farm since they don’t spawn as frequently.

To farm Titanium Ore and Stravidium Fiber, bring a Scout Ornithopter and scan the sands for rocky outcrops just like you’d do in Hagga Basin. Titanium Ore deposits look similar to the other metals you’ve been gathering inDune: Awakening, only this one has a blueish-gray sheen to it. Stravidium Mass deposits are also easy to spot. Look for huge chunks of metal sitting on top of normal-looking rocks. Since the Deep Desert resets weekly, new resource spawns will pop up regularly.

It’s a good idea toset up a baseclose to your Titanium and Stravidium farming operation, but make sure it’s protected from both the elements and other players. If you really want to play it safe, establish an outpost in the PVE areas of the Deep Desert or build a small base at the border of Hagga Basin so you can easily drop off your ores for refining before heading back out into the Deep Desert for further scavenging.
