In a recent post on Reddit, Scrat-Scrobbler asked that NetEase Games shift the way the popular hero shooter handles simultaneous input from multiple devices, as the gamer currently utilizes both a mouse and controller to play. Scrat-Scrobbler shared that the game supports this kind of play, but it comes with a big catch. Currently, when someone swaps devices (which can happen in an instant), it swapsMarvel Rivals' user interfacebetween controller and keyboard formats. Unfortunately, it also triggers a visual cue in the form of a large banner on the screen letting the player know that they’ve swapped devices. The game also emits a high-pitched ping, further calling attention to the shift.

Marvel Rivals Players Want Better Support for Simultaneous Input

The player believes that it’s possible for NetEase Games to add a setting that would allow people to eliminate the banner and ping that trigger every time they switch devices, which happens quite frequently. They claimed thatOverwatch’s settingshad a similar problem when the game launched, but the developers found a way to make things smoother for disabled gamers and those who simply wish to play using both a mouse and controller. Many people in the comments of the post got behind the idea, asking NetEase Games to do something to improve the situation for this portion of the community.

NetEase Games is constantly looking for ways to improve the player experience in the popular hero shooter. The developer recently added a new detection system targeted at findingsmurfs inMarvel Rivals. Once the system finds an account that it believes to be smurfing, it sends a warning to the player, asking them to cease the behavior or risk further consequences. While this wasn’t mentioned in any kind of patch notes, it does appear to have made its debut with the launch of Season 3. With a whole new season to enjoy and even more content just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future ofMarvel Rivals.
