As part of the Season 9 update forDiablo 4, players discover a helpful quality of life change made to the armor customization process. There’s been a wave of excitement in theDiablo 4community as a new season has finally arrived. As expected, Season 9 not only adds plenty of new content, but also makes some big changes to the core experience.
Diablo 4released its Season 9 patch notesand, as is the norm for each release, it has brought with it plenty of tweaks and changes. Sins of the Horadrim adds new features like being able to utilize new Horadric spellcrafting abilities, crafting jewels, exploring Strongrooms, and plenty more. However, season 9 has also brought with it numerous changes, not just to the existingDiablo 4classes, but to the rest of the game as well. One such change, while not as big as some of the well-documented tweaks, has seemingly received a positive reception from players.
Following the launch ofDiablo 4’s latest season known as Sins of the Horadrim, players have discovered all the changes made in the patch. Among all the balance changes, a smaller tweak has been noted by Reddit user Ropp_Stark when attempting to use the game’s transmog system for their armor. Now, instead of manually changing the visual style of each individual armor piece,Diablo 4has a new setting called Equip Theme.
Diablo 4 Players Can Now Change Their Armor Theme
This improvement, while subtle compared to some of the otherbigger Season 9 changes inDiablo 4, has seemingly been a big hit with many players in the community already. Not only does it save time from having to change each item individually, but equipping the theme prevents players from having to manually search through their entire collection to find a specific matching set piece. One user named techn0kween also mentioned thatDiablo 4added a preview option for all cosmetic items and a shortcut to the store to purchase the items that players don’t yet own.
However, one such addition in Season 9 hasn’t had the same positive reception. Sins of the Horadrim brought new pets toDiablo 4, many of which are accessed through the Reliquary and Battle Pass Bundle like the Scapegoat and Dante. However, Season 9 also features the Azul Pet, a rare fox pet that’s part of a bundle at the Tejal Shop. While the pet was praised by many,Diablo 4fans are frustrated at the price of the bundle, with many saying they’d never pay 2,500 Platinum for what amounts to a pet, trophy, and emblem.
