Diablo 4has officially rolled out its newest update, primarily consisting of a bunch of bug fixes for the base game and Sins of the Horadrim seasonal content. The second post-launch update forDiablo 4Season 9 is now live in-game for all fans.

On July 1,Diablo 4began Season 9, Sins of the Horadrim, which included content like Horadric Strongrooms, Spells, and Jewels, as well as a revamped fight against Astaroth. Two weeks later,Diablo 4rolled out its first post-Season 9 update, featuring a bunch of class balance adjustments and bug fixes.

Now, two weeks after the previous update,Diablo 4has put out yet another patch for players to enjoy. Blizzard announced the official release in a Twitter post, with thefree July 29Diablo 4updatenow available in all regions and for every gamer, regardless of if they own theVessel of Hatredexpansion or not.

Unlike the previous update, this patch contains no balance adjustments; in fact, the whole thing consists of bug fixes, and almost entirely in generalDiablo 4content, rather thanVessel of Hatred-specific locations. Issues pertaining to Sins of the Horadrim seasonal progress and rewards, certain Escalation dungeon affixes, and mechanics for character and boss abilities were resolved in this new build. General stability, performance, user interface, and visual improvements were also implemented, so hopefully, fans on all platforms will have a smoother experience inDiablo 4now than ever before.

The lastDiablo 4update experienced issues that caused it to be rolled backon PC platforms for a short time after it officially went live. Hopefully,Diablo 4does not encounter this problem again for this most recent update – though considering it is smaller than the last one, its release should ideally proceed without incident.

Unfortunately, Blizzard recently went on the record saying it hadno major updates planned forDiablo 4ahead of Season 10, currently expected to go live in September. While that obviously doesn’t mean it won’t be continuing to provide maintenance on the ARPG, players shouldn’t expect any game-changing updates to class balance for more than a month. That said, it would not be surprising ifDiablo 4continued to release bug-fixing patches similar to this one throughout August and into September. Only time will tell what awaitsDiablo 4fans in Season 10 and beyond, but given the attention the developers have been putting into it, it sounds like something big is coming to Sanctuary soon.
