SomeDiablo 4fans have recently expressed their frustration at the Echo of Lilith fight, claiming invulnerability phases, bugs, and visual clutter make the encounter unfair and unfun. Though Uber Lilith has been considered to be one of the hardest bosses inDiablo 4since its release, these players seem to think the fight is actually getting worse with every season that passes.
As the ultimate encounter in the base campaign ofDiablo 4, it is no surprise that Lilith is a complex and difficult battle. Fans looking for an even greater challenge can face off against the Echo of Lilith, also known as “Uber Lilith,” thefirst Pinnacle boss introduced inDiablo 4and widely considered to be the hardest one, even after nine seasons.
However, someDiablo 4players are fed up with Uber Lilith. In a recent post on Reddit,Diablo 4fan TheMorals expressed their grievances towards Blizzard about the Echo of Lilith, claiming the fight gets worse each season. They cited an abundance of invulnerability phases, encounter-breaking bugs, and excessive visual clutter as the major reasons why the fight is not only difficult, but unenjoyable – and that the problem has only gotten worse over time.
Diablo 4’s Uber Lilith Boss Fight – Challenging or Unfair?
This is hardly the first time a thread like this has appeared on Reddit. Some players noted that every season inDiablo 4, Uber Lilith seems to draw the ire of frustrated fans once more, prompting similar discussions. That said, most players in the comments seem to agree with TheMorals, saying the fight is an unenjoyable, unfairendgame challenge inDiablo 4that is more likely to cause them to rage-quit than anything. A few, however, claim the fight isn’t that hard, and that gamers who aren’t “good” enough to easily farm the fight can just skip it, as defeating her once only rewards an achievement and a mount cosmetic, and Resplendent Sparks once per subsequent season, which can be obtained from other sources.
Luckily, at least one of TheMorals’ problems with the Echo of Lilith has already been resolved. The bug where Uber Lilith could get stuck in her first phase if she took too much damage too quicklywas fixed inDiablo 4’s update on July 29, which should at least prevent the fight from glitching out.
Even though Uber Lilith came out over two years ago, she remainsone of the hardest bosses inDiablo 4– and not evenVessel of Hatredcould dethrone her. Fans will have to see if the fights from future seasons or expansions will ever be able to compare to the Mother of Sanctuary and the Daughter of Hatred.
