They are mainly used as a location for side quests, and are extremely swift to complete. They mention that Blizzard could “put a guaranteed event in it, or a whisper cache, or something.” AnubisIncGaming even points out that right now, Cellars “have load screens longer than it takes to clear the cellar,” which seemed to be a particular problem that a few fans in the thread agreed with.
Some Diablo 4 Players Think That Cellars Are “A Complete Waste of Time” Right Now
