ThoughDiablo 4boss Rod Fergusson has logged almost 1,500 hours in the ARPG, he is still missing one achievement. While the exact accolade he does not yet have is unknown, it is clear theDiablo 4boss has put a lot of time into the game as both a player and developer.

Rod Fergusson is a video game developer with a history at many big-name tech companies and studios, including Microsoft, Epic Games, Irrational Games, and The Coalition. Before coming to Blizzard in 2020 to work ontheDiabloseries, he helped bring games likeCounter-Strike,Gears of War, andBioshock Infiniteto life, and is known as a big proponent of console availability.

It is no surprise that Fergusson is an avid gamer himself, but a recent post of his showed just how dedicated he is toDiablo 4. On Twitter, Fergusson shared an image of his playtime inDiablo 4, which currently clocks in at 60 days, 20 hours, and 26 minutes – an impressive total of more than 1,460 hours. The executive speculated that the release ofDiablo 4Season 9 would put him over the 1,500 mark. However, what caught the eyes of fans the most is that, after all of that time, Fergusson was missing exactly one of the 35achievements available inDiablo 4, ruining his otherwise perfect Gamerscore.

Diablo 4 Boss Missing Achievement After 1,500 Hours

Fergusson did not reveal the achievement he was missing, but that did not stop players from speculating what accolade was the culprit. Some cited Devout Champion, which requires fans to reach the lofty goal of Paragon 300, while others surmised it might be Fearless Combatant, earned by slaying 10 players in Hardcore mode. There are plenty ofdifficult achievements inDiablo 4, but it is hard to imagine what one Fergusson might be missing after two months of time logged in the game.

Despite this massive chunk of playtime, the staggering statistics of some fans dwarf Fergusson’s near-1,500 hours. At least two players in the comments managed to double his total, logging more than 3,300 hours each. That said, if one were to include the time Fergusson spent working on the game over the last five years on top of those he’s spent playing it, he might top even the most hardcore ofDiablo 4fans.

Unfortunately,Diablo 4is currently experiencing some issues with the July 15 update, causing Blizzard to roll the servers back to the previous Season 9 build. Luckily, this rollback is only for PC players, so Fergusson and his fellow console enjoyers shouldn’t be affected by this issue.
