Destiny 2: Vessel of the Nine - All Dark Matter Sources

Vessel of the Nine is best played early intheEdge of Fatecampaign, as it provides important context to Lodi’s role in the story. You can still play this after the campaign, though.

The quest begins at the entrance to the Aionian Academy. Pick up Lodi’s journal from the table near the entrance, then follow the quest marker to the next area.

Your task here is to find Dark Matter Sources, which can be found onspecific dead bodies inside the objective area. Once you find one source, the quest will lead you to a different area:

Where to Find the Final Quest Step Signal

At the end of the Vessel of the Nine quest, players will need tolook for some sort of signal somewhere in the final area. You can find it ontop of the round magnetic crane, which is almost directly above the last Dark Matter Source. To reach the signal, you need to scale the rock formation on one side of the area. From there, just jump toward the crane, then interact with the small blue symbol.

Interacting with the symbol will reveal the true source of the voices inside Lodi’s head, and you’ll get one of theKepler destination weaponstoo, alongside some Fated Ciphers for future weapons decoding.
