Agapeis one of the most lethalSolar Hand Cannonsbrought toDestiny 2withThe Edge of Fateexpansion, and this Solar Heavy-Burst energy weapon can really pack a punch if players manage to get one with the correct perks, magazine, cannon, and masterwork. In other words:God Rolls. With lots of base Impact, Range, and a predictable recoil pattern, this weapon is clearly one of the best for the PvE and PvP metas.
It boasts a lot of interesting perks to combine, but among them, there are only a few that can be considered S-Tier, and useful for PvP and PvE. So, let’s take a look at this Hand Cannon’s ideal perks, barrel, magazine, and all the information related to its intrinsic Trait, and how to make use of it in combat.
All Agape PvE God Rolls in Destiny 2
Agape is one of the rewards players can get by playingThe Edge of Fatequests inDestiny 2, and by attuning it to the Altar of Relativity in Caldera, they can get more drops of this Heavy-Burst Solar Hand Cannon. Alongside theGiver’s Blessing Auto Rifle, it is one of the top-tiered weapons of the season.
Master of Arms or Incandescent
Masterwork
Handling
Agape comes with lots of Impact, one of the highest in all the Hand Cannon Pool (92 of base), which turns it into a powerful tool of destruction. The PvE God Rolls for Agape in D2 areRewind RoundsandMaster of Arms.Fluted Barrel will grant Agape extra Stability (5) and Handling (15), which always come in handy for these Heavy-Burst Hand Cannons. For the same reason, Handling is the optimal roll for the Masterwork, since it gives extra control and ready speed. Some players prefer Incandescent to Master of Arms, since it grants a lot more Add Clear that way.
Agape’s Intrinsic Trait is called Exhaustive Research: Aiming down sights at a target for a short time charges a homing micro rocket. It has a cooldown of approximately 8 seconds and a charge time of 2 seconds (while aiming down sights).
All Agape PvP God Rolls in Destiny 2
The PvP God Roll for Agape isOutlawandMaster of Arms, (or Encore and Firefly as an alternative). The 25% Damage buff of Master of Arms and the capability of fast recharge, thanks to triggering Outlaw.
Outlaw or Encore
Master of Arms or Firefly
Armor-Piercing Rounds grants an extra edge against overshielded Guardians, and since this Elemental Buff is the meta, it will come in handy. On the other hand, a Handling Masterwork will increase weapon stow/ready speed, making players draw faster than their rivals. The draw animation for Agape is quite slow, similar to other heavy hand-cannons, so that’s its main drawback. Still, all things considered, Agape is A+ Tier for PvP, placing a littlelower than Igneous Hammerin terms of utility and precision, but higher in control and stopping power.
