In a recent report, it was revealed that the Japanese fans' favorite character from the Infinity Castle movie is Akaza. Yes, it’s the same Akaza who brutally murdered Rengoku in the Mugen Train arc. His actions make him irredeemable, but Japanese fans adore thecharacter because of his tragic past. Without divulging too much information, fans should know that Upper Moon Three has a rather emotional backstory. In fact, it can be considered one of the saddest backstories in anime history.
Akaza’s past elevates his status, which is why Japanese fans like him so much. But even such acompelling story cannot undo the harmthat he has caused to many innocent people. Nonetheless, it’s hard to deny that Akaza is a polarizing character, and fans find it hard to pick a side.

The Next Two Movies Might Release In 2027 & 2029
Recently, it was revealedthat the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie tookthree and a half years to be produced, which means ufotable was working on the movie as well as the fourth season of the television series. Anime fans are well aware of how exhausting producing a series can be, so the studio staff being able to tackle two projects at the same time is nothing short of amazing. Of course, ufotable must have divided the staff based on priority, but it’s still an incredible feat.
The information about the production gives fans an idea of when to expect the next movie in the trilogy. If, and it’s a big if, the studio takes the same approach to the second movie, i.e, working on two projects at the same time, then it’s possible for it to be released in 2027.
In order for the estimate to work, the studio must have begun working on the second installment once the production on the fourth season was over. Using the same logic, it is possible that the Infinity Castle movie 3 will end before 2030. It’s only conjecture at this point, so fans should take the information with a grain of salt.
