Many watchers have commented on the animation quality, stating it to be mind-blowing, and others have said that the studio has put in a tremendous amount of work. Fans have claimed that it’s far better than even the Mugen Train movie.
This movie is so incredible in part thanks to the amount of time the animators were given. This movie was in the works for 3.5 years, which is an astonishing amount of time. To put that into perspective, Demon Slayer was only airing its Season 2 3.5 years ago.

The Movie Will Come Out In 2027
The first Infinity Castle movie just dropped in mid-2025, and if reports are to be believed, the second Demon Slayer, Infinity Castle movie release date is already known.
The Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Movie Part 2is scheduled to release in 2027. The exact month and date are yet to be revealed to the fans as it’s far too early for that. As evident, there is going to be a 2+ year gap from the first movie, which is a lot, but not nearly as much as 3.5 years.
Work on this movie has probably already started a while ago, so the time it takes for production could be about three years.

The Demon Slayer manga concluded long ago, in 2020 to be specific. The story is rather short compared to most other series, and only spans over 205 chapters. Fans of the series who don’t want to wait for the movies to drop can check the manga out on Manga Plus.
Meanwhile, for the anime, the series currently has 4 anime seasons. These anime seasons can all be found on Crunchyroll.The rest of the series will be animated into movies, for which fans will have to wait for a theatrical release. The release date, in this case, depends on their country.
