Among the battles featured in the Infinity Castle trailer, viewers are more concerned withShinobu Kocho’s encounter with Douma. In an eerie chamber within the Infinity Fortress, fans saw the Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho wield her Nichirin sword against the upper demon two, Douma. She was fighting by herself, with a strong resolve to fulfill her personal vendetta against the sadistic demon.
On the other hand, Douma was shown wielding a pair of sharp golden fans capable of shielding every attack Shinobu threw at him. He also demonstrated his cheeky side, almost as if he was not going to take a weak girl like Shinobu seriously. He also had unfinished business with Shinobu, knowing he failed to eat her sister, Kanae Kocho, when they fought each other in the past.

Now,Shinobu is thirsty for Douma’s bloodand fans know she will use this opportunity to avenge Kanae to the best of her abilities, even if she dies in the process. Of course, Douma will not be an easy opponent to defeat, considering he holds the title of Upper Moon Two, just one number lower than Kokushibo.
Is This the End for Shinobu Kocho?
Without spoiling too much, Shinobu Kocho will do her very best to defeat Douma in the Infinity Castle arc. And what does Shinobu know best? Her knowledge of poison and its lethal effects against demons. Hence, she plans to kill Douma not by beheading him but by injecting him with a poison a lot stronger than what she used at Rui on Mount Natagumo in season 1.

This is easier said than done, as Douma is a bad match with Shinobu. TheDemon Slayer: Infinity Castlemovie will show how the upper moon demon countersShinobu’s attacks, especially her poison. But as much as fans would love to see Shinobu win against Douma effortlessly and without breaking a sweat, that will not happen. What is certain is that these two characters will give the viewers an amazing but emotionally charged fight.
