How To Beat Tenna Boss in Deltarune Chapter 3
Tenna confronts you just before you encounter theRoaring Knight in Chapter 3, trying to persuade you to keep playing games. Once you deny it, his fear of being left behind pushes him into a full-on battle.
Like mostbattles inDeltarune, this fight can be resolved either peacefully or through combat. If you want to engage in a fight, you need to prepare for a long fight, as Tenna has a lot of HP. As such, it’s usually better to play along with his games.
During the battle, Tenna challenges you to earn 1,000 points to win the battle. There are two main ways to do this:
To keep up, guard frequently to fill your TP gauge. This lets you use the ACT more often and play additional minigames. Also, ensure touse the healing itemsyou’ve gathered throughout the chapter.
Once you hit that 1,000-point mark, Tenna kicks off the"Grand Finale".This is where things get intense. He launches his final attack: a relentless string of rapid-fire minigames. The rapid switches can be disorienting, making it easy to slip up.
When Tenna announces the Grand Finale, make sure to heal yourentire partybefore the Final Episode begins. This gives you some breathing room to handle the rapid-fire minigames that follow.
After surviving this onslaught, you’ll enter the final stage: a shootout against Tenna. During this phase, you’ll fire at Tenna as he bombards you with stars. Use your bullets defensively to weaken or break the incoming ones, or offensively to deal damage by hitting Tenna’s head. Land enough hits on the head to take him down.
