How to Farm Materials in Death Stranding 2
There are multiple ways to obtain building materials inDeath Stranding 2: On the Beach. The easiest way is tolevel up facilitiesso they’ll allocate more resources to you. you may view a facility’s resource stockpile from the map screen, and you can collect any materials from their storage by choosing “Claim Materials” at the delivery terminal.
Check Postboxes and Supply Requests

If you’re up for somecombat or stealth, enemy camps are by far the best way to get materials quickly inDeath Stranding 2. The Brigands of Australia have a ton of raw materials sitting in their Postboxes, and there are plenty of XL resource containers to be found within their camps. You can detect these containers with a quick Odradek scan, but it’s best to use a Watchtower for detailed surveillance.
Make sure to bring a vehicle to carry all yourspoils from the camp. After you fully clear an enemy camp, it’ll remain inactive for a while. Give it some time, though, and more enemies will move in with even more materials for you to steal.
How to Mine Resources in Death Stranding 2
Mines are a new feature added inDeath Stranding 2, and they’re incredibly useful for resource farming. There are multiple mines to restore across Australia, and each of them will generate hundreds of a specified resource in exchange for Chiral Crystals.
Most mines are connected to sub-orders that you can accept from various facilities across the Australian continent, so be sure to check for side quests whenever you connect a new contact to the Chiral Network. You can even work together with other players to upgrade these mines beyond their basic level, further increasing the amount of materials you can obtain from them.
Mines are by far the most efficient way to stockpile materials inDeath Stranding 2as long as you have enough Chiral Crystals, so you shouldprioritize bringing them online whenever you encounter a new one. It may not be worth spending your Chiral Crystals on things like Metals and Ceramics, but it’s absolutely worth spending them to minerare materials like Special Alloyssince you won’t find too many of those at bandit camps.
