Most deliveries inDeath Stranding 2: On the Beachare fairly straightforward. You go and get a package, sneak past some enemies, and drop off the goods at a delivery terminal. Order 26 ofDeath Stranding 2changes things up with a secret passcode required to access the Motherhood, though.
This is the first order in the game that blocks access to the delivery terminal, so it naturally stumps many players. Even if you take the time to thoroughly explore the surrounding ruins, you won’t find any hints about the passcode. To make things even worse, the code is different for every player, so you may’t just copy someone else’s answer.
Death Stranding 2 Motherhood Door Code
The Motherhood door code inDeath Stranding 2is hidden in plain sight. If you check the order description, it tells you toread the Corpus entry for the Motherhood very carefully. That’s where you’ll find the first hint for this password.
To find the code, open the Corpus from the pause menu and then scroll down to theFacilitiessection. The Motherhood entry is near the bottom by the entries for the Northern Environmental Observatory and F2 South Distribution Center. The bottom of the Corpus entry for the Motherhood states that thepasscode is your birthday! That’s right, the Motherhood passcode is thedate of birth you entered at the start ofDeath Stranding 2.
If you forgot the birthday you entered at the start for some reason, you may press a button on the Motherhood’s Corpus page to reveal the four-digit code anyway. Punch your birthday into the keypad and the door will open, granting you access to the Motherhood. There’s a lengthy cutscene waiting for you inside, so now’s a good time to save your game.
Getting the Motherhood onto the Chiral Network will allow you to build structures in the desert that you most likely crossed to reach the facility, which is a huge time-saver. Depending on the other players on your server, you’ll see a bunch of Jump Ramps, Generators, and other helpful items as soon as you step back outside. There’s even aMonorail to repairif you’re willing to gather all the necessary materials.
