Dead by Daylight’s latest update is all aboutThe Walking Dead, and even though there isn’t a new Killer coming to the game in this patch, there are quite a few Survivors and other goodies for fans to enjoy. Rick Grimes and Michonne are the leading Survivors forDead by Daylight’sWalking Deadcollaboration, and they come with some of the most unique perks and abilities to date.

That’s not all, however, asDaryl Dixon is also coming toDead by Daylightalongside Rick and Michonne. He’s not a bespoke Survivor, though. Instead, he’s a legendary outfit that you have to purchase for Rick Grimes. You only need to buy Rick or Michonne if you want to play as them, but Daryl costs extra since he’s technically a skin. Either way, there are a lot ofWalking Deadtidbits coming toDead by Daylightalongside this trio of Survivors, so here’s what you need to know about the collab.

What to Expect From Dead by Daylight’s Walking Dead Crossover

The Walking DeadChapter inDead by Daylightwill bereleased on July 29, 2025on all platforms. PC players can test out the new update right now via thePublic Test Build forDead by Daylight, however, but console players will have to wait until the official release date comes around.

When the Chapter is released, both Rick and Michonne will be available for purchase for500 Auric Cells(roughly $5). If you want to get the Daryl Dixon skin for Rick, it’ll cost you an extra1485 Auric Cells (roughly $15). Rick and Michonne are fully voiced and have other cosmetics to choose from as well.

Rick’s perks are great for getting the Killer’s attention and helping other Survivors get to safety, which is to be expected from a character like him. The ability to create new pallets is a huge game-changer, too.

Both Rick and Michonne’s perks allow them to play aggressively against Killers, which is a nice change of pace from thesupport-oriented SurvivorsthatDead by Daylighthas seen in its last few updates. No matter your choice, both of these new Survivors are quite powerful, and their perks can be transferred to other characters once you prestige them as always.
