DC Worlds Collideoffers 12 game modes with turn-based PvP and PvE combat, puzzles, exploration, and others. Out of this list, six modes take the spotlight as the most substantial endgame content. Starting with “Evil Falls,” where players' five-member squads take onthe members of the Crime Syndicateas bosses that reset every other day. Another mode is “Convergence,” which transports players to different cities from the DCU to complete challenges. However, these combat trials have restrictions that will require more strategizing from players. For example, only certain characters can enter combat, pushing fans to build their parties accordingly. Players can also try “Crisis Watch” and overcome weekly-themed battles with specific rule sets to get all the points.
The game also offers “Warworld,” its PvP hub divided into three arenas. The first consists of ranked 5v5 battles with players claiming rewards as they rise through the ranks. Next is the Elite Arena, comprised of 15v15 matches that reset biweekly. Finally, the Victor’s Arena gathers the top 64 players from Elite to compete for the number one spot in the bracket.
Another challenging mode is “Digital Universe,” where players explore a maze by traversing through portals, solving puzzles, and choosing their battles carefully to reach the end. Finally, “Exploration” mode isDC Worlds Collide’s narrative-driven section. Players can follow small storylines that encourage puzzle and mystery-solving while meetingfan-favorite DC characters. It is worth noting that the game also offers five additional minigames and seasonal events. The latter includes character releases as well as holiday engagements.DC Worlds Collideplayers can expect events related to Batman Day, New Year’s Eve, among others.
