8Kreon
A Warlord Turned Hero
Kreon was a mighty warrior before joining the Green Lantern Corps. On his home planet, he became an influential warlord who sought to end the conflict that ravaged his home through strength. He had a militant mind, physical prowess, and tactical know-how.
During a chance encounter with Hal Jordan, Kreon impressed the lantern and was inducted into the Green Lantern Corps. Kreon took to being a lantern as if it were his purpose; he gave his all to protect his sector and never once faltered under pressure. Kreon was on the front line of defense when a Parallax-powered Hal Jordan rampaged across OA. Later, in a fit of revenge, Kreon lost his life trying to kill Hal Jordan for his crimes.
7Ch’p
The Pint-Sized Force Of Nature
Ch’p is one of many non-humanoid Lanterns that make up the Green Lantern Corps. Before becoming a Green Lantern, Ch’p lived on a planet called H’lven, which housed a race of anthropomorphic cartoon-esque characters oppressed by a sinister Doctor Ub’x. Ch’p led a rebellion against the doctor, which resulted in his sector’s Green Lantern being slain.
The uprising failed, and while Ch’p awaited execution, he was approached by the Guardians of Oa and inducted into theGreen LanternCorps. Though Ch’p struggled with his new role at first, he found his place and his motivation and became one of the best minds of the Green Lantern Corps. Unfortunately, Ch’p struggled with his mental health, and after a long hibernation, he awoke to a tragic end.
6Katma Tui
The Gold Standard Of The Green Lanterns
Katma Tui has a long history with the Green Lantern Corps. She succeeded Thal Sinestro after his fall from grace and carried the heavy burden of repairing the relationship between the Green Lanterns and her people, which had been tarnished by Sinestro’s crimes.
Katma became one of the most dependable and capable Lanterns who guarded her sector like a safe. She became so decorated that she stood beside Green Lanterns such as Killowag as an equal. Tragically, Katma Tui was slain by a Star Sapphire and then died once again after the destruction of the Central Power Battery on OA.

Mogo has been on the front line in numerous battles against evil, even serving as the main base of operations after OA’s destruction. Among Green Lanterns, Mogo is capable of powerful energy blasts and insightful bits of wisdom. Mogo was destroyed during a cataclysmic battle, where he was taken over by the villain Krono, which ultimately led to his own destruction.

Arisia is one of the most prominent and most accomplished female Green Lanterns in DC Comics. She startedas a love interestto Hal Jordan but quickly grew into a mighty Lantern in her own right, who devoted herself to the cause of protecting the universe.
Arisia has been involved in numerous battles and possesses an intrinsic understanding of using the Green Lantern Ring, most notably during her time as Sodam Yat’s partner. Arisia was killed by Major Force, an ending which the fanbase hated. It was later undone as her genetic abilities as a Graxonite allowed her to regenerate from her injuries.

Abin Sur is one of the most famous Green Lanterns in DC Comics history as the predecessor to Hal Jordan, who died after crash-landing on Earth. Abin Sur was a legendary Green Lantern who saved countless lives and trained dozens of Lanterns for the future of the Corps, including Sinestro.
Prior to his death, Abin Sur was a highly accomplished Lantern known for his intellect, skill, and compassion. Abin Sur left big shoes to fill, as Hal Jordan was constantly compared to the vacancy he left behind as one of the strongest Green Lanterns in history.

Laira is a second-generation Green Lantern who was trained from birth by her father to be his replacement. After her father’s disappearance, Laira utilized her mastery of her emotions, the martial art of her people, and the wealth of knowledge passed down by her father to step into his shoes and claim his power ring.
Laira is a force of nature on a battlefield. She has an instant legacy of fighting with and without the construct, making her one of the fiercest Green Lanterns in the galaxy. Unfortunately, Laira’s will was overpowered by her rage. After being dishonorably discharged from the Green Lantern Corps, she equipped aRed Power Ring. This led to her vendetta against Sinestro and his Corps for the death of her beloved, which ultimately caused her demise.
