Night City is full of obscure secrets for players to find, and one fan ofCyberpunk 2077recently shared their discovery of an Easter egg left by the developers which they only just came across despite playing the game for three years. Unlike many of the random events and encounters that players can stumble upon throughout the world ofCyberpunk 2077, this minor point of interest doesn’t have any rewards to offer, but those who want to see it for themselves can find the Easter egg not far from V’s first apartment in Watson.

There are a fewsimilar Easter eggs left byCyberpunk 2077’s developersscattered throughout the game, including the more well-known dev room located in Kabuki that players can get into with the code 605185. Although Night City presents a pretty unique open world that feels vastly different to those that traditional RPG fans might be used to, first-time players especially should be sure to take their time exploring its streets. Many side missions, as well as unmarked secrets and loot caches, can be found scattered all over town, and some ofCyberpunk 2077’s most iconic weapons can easily be overlooked by those who are in a hurry.

One particularly tricky to find Easter egg seems to be a little-known one among the fanbase, with a player known online as Chunky-overlord drawing attention to the detail after they found it themselves. The secret comes in two parts, one being the CD Projekt RED logo that can be seen on the side of a building in downtown Watson, and the other being a pair of mounted binoculars that sit on top of the roof of the Tom’s Diner where players meet Takemura near thestart ofCyberpunk 2077’s second act. If players interact with the binoculars and use them to look directly at the CD Projekt RED logo nearby, an image of the game’s dev team will appear on the screen.

For those who may not remember where to find this Tom’s Diner restaurant, it’s just around the corner from V’s Watson apartment, the firsthome players will have inCyberpunk 2077. If players exit through the front door of Misty’s Esoterica, they can easily find the place by turning left and walking down the alley until they enter an open area with lots of food stalls. From here, the diner can be seen to the left, right where the Chariot tarot card can be found. It’s near the Bradbury and Buran fast travel point.

This Developer Easter Egg Isn’t The Only Secret This Tom’s Diner Is Hiding

Another fun secret related to this particular Tom’s Diner is that, occasionally, and during certain times of the day only, the diner will be full of NCPD cops who are there to grab lunch. This even includes a squad of MaxTac officers, some of thestrongest enemies that players can take on inCyberpunk 2077. This presents one of the only ways in the game for players to fight MaxTac officers without reaching a five-star wanted level.
