Merge Tactics combines the cards fromClash Royalewith a battle system similar to that ofClash Mini. The players will kick off the game with one random default troop, and each round, they will get the chance to purchase new troops based on random offers.
While the troops behave just like their basic versions in Merge Tactics, they are now enhanced by Traits. Each troop features two traits, which apply some passive buffs to it. Some traits will only be activated if there are a certain number of troops with the same trait on the battlefield, while some others will apply to single troops as well. Knowing what each trait offers when it is stacked on the battlefield is the key to success in Merge Tactics, as the players will understand how to spend their Elixir and which cards to pick up from the shop during battles.
