While there were manytragic player deathsthroughout all three seasons ofSquid Game, some characters arguably met the ends they deserved, particularly those involved in organizing the games. Some contestants also unleashed unnecessary violence and betrayed others, not out of an instinct for survival, but for pure greed.
Of course, nobody deserved to be at the games, especially once their true nature was unveiled, but many characters voted for them to continue, willingly sending hundreds who had voted to leave to their deaths.

5Player 333 - Lee Myung-Gi (MG Coin)
Murdered People Out Of Greed & Threatened His Own Baby
Heading into Season 3, and even the last few episodes, many believed Player 333 could be redeemed, and he had already shown signs of wanting the best for his pregnant ex-girlfriend, Jun-hee, by voting to end the games.
However, his vicious attacks during Hide and Seek after already passing showed a darker side of Lee Myung-gi, also known as MG Coin. These attacks seem to be fueled by greed, and after accidentally killing the contestant who had protected his ex, he did not apologize or offer to help, even upon seeing his own baby had been born. Hismost irredeemable crimes, however, occurred in the penultimate game, where he endangered his own baby daughter and even threatened to kill her.
4The Recruiter
Took Pleasure In Killing People & Sending Them To Their Deaths
The Recruiter for theSouth Korean gamestook pleasure in seeing desperate people living on the edge and would tease them before sending them off to their fate. He also explained that while working at the games, he shot his own father without hesitation, realizing he had an appetite for the work.
Additionally, he made two men play Rock, Paper, Scissors Minus One, where the loser would be forced to play a round of Russian Roulette, all for his own entertainment. Eventually, he himself would die during a game of Russian Roulette with Gi-hun.
3Player 100 - Im Jeong-Dae
Persuaded Others To Continue The Game & Screwed Over Everyone He Could
While readers may be surprised to discover that Player 100, Im Jeong-dae, did not directly kill anyone during the games, he was nevertheless responsible for many lost lives andnever hesitated to betray othersin order to save his own skin. First of all, he was perhaps the main champion of continuing the games, knowingly sending people to their deaths, including just less than half of them who didn’t want to play anymore.
He convinced people by saying they would play just one more game and then leave, but he kept pushing the games further and always tried to find ways of eliminating more players to increase the prize pool. During the Hide and Seek game, he pushed one temporary ally to his death and held the door shut so that Seon-nyeo would be killed. In the final game, he had no qualms with sending the baby to its death and betrayed another ally, trying to beat him to a pulp. Eventually, Player 100 was pushed to his death.
2Player 124 - Nam-Gyu
A Bully & Murderer
Nam-gyu was far from a nice person and constantly bullied and threatened Min-su alongside Thanos. However, that pales in comparison with the multiple murders he committed throughout the rest of the games, including a few in the bathroom brawl and the nighttime attack.
During the Hide and Seek game, he and Player 333 went around killing more contestants after they had already passed, becoming one ofSquid Game’smain villainsin the process. Nam-gyu didn’t even appear to be driven by greed and found pleasure in ending lives. He eventually got what he deserved when Min-su threw Thanos' cross onto the Jump Rope bridge, where he was knocked off after discovering there were no pills left.
1Player 101 - Jang Deok-Su
Killed By The Woman He Betrayed
Jang Deok-su, who was Player 101 in the first Season, is one of the mostirredeemable characters inSquid Game. He used violence and intimidation to get his way, forming a gang of thugs to help him through the games, but had no issues with betraying these allies.
Throughout the series, he killed multiple characters outside of the games, such as when the lights went out at night, with vengeance or pure bloodlust often being his motives. At one point, he had a sexual relationship with one of his allies, Mi-nyeo, but abandoned her when selecting a team for Tug of War, in favor of a stronger man. However, she would get her revenge during the Glass Stepping Stones game by throwing him off with her.
