Solo Levelingis full of powerful characters with unique abilities, one of whom is fan-favorite Cha Hae-In. With her wit, strength, and graceful swordsmanship, she easily becomes the best girl among others for mostSolo Levelingfans. She also has tremendous potential to grow stronger, but fans know there are limits that even a gifted hunter like her can never cross.
Despite the power Cha Hae-In holds, her strength as an S-rank hunter pales in comparison to Jin-Woo and other superior beings like the Monarchs andthe vessels of the Rulers. While she is said to be the strongest female hunter in Korea, it’s painfully clear that she’s not exactly the strongest female character in Solo Leveling. After all, a powerful woman stands in her way, holding monstrous powers and abilities.
Querehsha Is Stronger Than Cha Hae-In
Querehsha Can Easily Handle Beru Unlike Cha Hae-In
While Cha Hae-In never fails to impress fans with her beauty and poise, her S-rank strength did not leave a lasting impression inSolo Levelingseason 2. She only got a few relevant scenes where she was able to showcase her combat prowess, but other than that, fans remember her for sleeping through the final moments of the fourth ant raid. Not only did she require saving from Min Byung-Gu and Sung Jin-Woo, but she was also no match for theAnt King, now extracted as Beruof the shadow army.
However,Querehsha, known as the Monarch of the Plaguesand the Queen of the Insects, can easily achieve what Cha Hae-In can’t do. As the self-proclaimed mother of all insect-type magic beasts, she can easily apprehend Beru with her immense strength. Even if Beru did not become Jin-Woo’s shadow, she could probably still command the Ant King and use his abilities to fight her enemies.
“To think that he was trying to use these kinds of soldiers to get in our way. How ridiculous."—Querehsha to Jin-Woo
Not to mention, Querehsha can also hold her own against Jin-Woo in a serious match, albeit for a short amount of time. She can push him into a corner, though fans know that her strength will not be enough to defeat him for real. Even so, she has problematic abilities like instantaneous regeneration, commanding the deceased, and spreading toxins, making her a threat on a global scale. All these combined, it’s clear that she surpasses Cha Hae-In in her current state, whether her hardcore fans accept it or not.
Cha Hae-In’s Growth Is Limited
Cha Hae-In Needs a Miracle to Grow Stronger
Unlike the otherS-rank hunters in Korea, Cha Hae-In is shown with the most motivation to grow stronger after the fourth Jeju Island raid. She truly wants to redeem herself after the Ant King took her down in just a single blow to her ribs. Although she landed the final blow to the Ant Queen, she is best remembered for her shortcomings in the final moments of the raid.
Unfortunately, for a hunter likeCha Hae-In to surpass her limitsand grow stronger, she needs a miracle inSolo Leveling. Unless she becomes a player in the system like Jin-Woo did, experiences a second awakening, or becomes a vessel of the Ruler, she would never be able to significantly increase her magic output nor surpass a powerful being like Querehsha. In other words, it will take a miracle for her to become better, especially in a series likeSolo Leveling.
“I am still far from strong enough. There, I could only wait for others to rescue me.—Cha Hae-In
No matter how hard Cha Hae-In trained behind the scenes with herC-rank master Song Chi-Yul, it would not amount to anything. But this doesn’t mean she will remain a damsel in distress throughout Solo Leveling, for she will get what is due to her in time, most likely in Solo Leveling season 3, when she gets a chance to face one of Jin-Woo’s strongest shadows.
All in all, Cha Hae-In is not the strongest female character inSolo Leveling. This title should be awarded to Querehsha due to her monstrous strength and terrifying abilities, far superior to Cha Hae-In. Even so, Cha Hae-In remains asSolo Leveling’s best girl, one of the fan-favorite characters closely connected to Jin-Woo to this day. Who knows, maybeSolo Leveling: Ragnarokcan give her the miracle that she needs to grow stronger than Querehsha.
