There are102 characters that players can romanceinDate Everything, but those aren’t the only people with whom they can interact. With some clever use of the Dateviator scan button, they’ll be able to talk directly to the game’s narrator and will even be given the option to pursue a romantic relationship with him.

Sadly, as theDate Everythingnarrator isn’t the personification of one of the many items in the house, players won’t be able to achieve a love ending with him or date him in the traditional sense. However, they will be able to get him to describe what dating him would be like, both physically and emotionally.

How to Talk to the Narrator in Date Everything

To talk with theDate Everythingnarrator, players should attempt to open the front door without wearing the Dateviators. Doing so will cause the narrator to start talking, at which point, players should hold the right trigger as if they were wearing the Dateviators, which will trigger a conversation with JB Blanc.

Can You Romance the Date Everything Narrator?

Unfortunately,any attempt to romance theDate Everythingnarrator will fail, as JB Blanc will reveal that he’s just a voice actor rather than a character in the game. However, he will offer to describe what dating him would be like, which can lead to some humorous dialogue.

JB Blanc also provides the voice ofCaptain Jacques Pierrot, so it is technically possible to date him, in a roundabout way.

What Other Games Has JB Blanc Appeared in?

When speaking with the narrator, he’ll reveal that he’s a voice actor who has appeared in many other video games over the years. He isn’t kidding either, as JB Blanc has voiced characters in over 50 games in total, with roles in some ofthe most popular video game franchises of all time, includingUncharted,Horizon, andBatman: Arkham.
