Boruto Will Use Purple Lightning Against Jura in Two Blue Vortex Chapter 23
What Part 1 of the Sneak Peek Reveals
The fight between Boruto and Jura rages on inBoruto: Two Blue Vortexafter two of theShinju Clones are defeated. Boruto’s life is in danger, as Jura means serious business, declaring that he has come to kill Naruto’s son once and for all. Boruto poses a serious threat to the Shinju Clones for knowing a lot of vital information, not just about the Thorn Soul Bulbs but also about their origins in general.
In the previous chapter, Boruto was in a difficult position, failing todefeat Jura with Rasengan Uzuhiko. While this Rasengan variant caused major problems for Code, it was ineffective against Jura, someone who understood the basic principle behind Boruto’s iconic technique. He nullified the effects of Uzuhiko, leaving Boruto with no choice but to come up with a new strategy.
That said, the latest sneak peeks ofTwo Blue Vortexchapter 23 revealed Boruto is up to something. He is still fighting with Jura, going toe-to-toe with him, but instead of using Uzuhiko, he attacks with purple lightning. This scene will happen in the next chapter and fans can’t wait to find out ifBoruto’s new attempt to best Jurais effective or not. After all, Jura looks shocked, which is a first for a stoic villain like him.
It’s a bad habit, but fighting strong opponents like you makes my heart dance with joy.—Jura to Boruto
This Isn’t the First Time Boruto Has Used Purple Lightning
Boruto Used It on Mamushi
Before Boruto uses purple lightning against Jura, he used it against one of the Shinju Clones in the early chapters ofTwo Blue Vortex. Specifically, in chapter 4, Boruto uses purple lightning against Mamushi, who fans know is the God Tree that emerged from Boro’s former subordinate, Bug. It happened during Boruto’s first encounter with the God Trees, when he followed Code to thelocation of the Ten Tails.
Tricky little jutsu—Mamushi to Boruto
Mamushi did not waste any time attacking Boruto, as he jumped into action, asking the rogue ninja whether he had personally come to offer himself to the God Trees. Boruto defended himself against Mamushi, using purple lightning to create distance between them. This attack seemingly slowed down Mamushi a little bit, which allowed Boruto toswitch positions with flying raijin.
Could Lightning Release Be the Shinju’s Weakness?
It’s Not Impossible
So far, theBoruto: Two Blue Vortexmanga has yet to reveal theweakness of the Shinju Clones, except for the fact that love poses a serious risk that could derail their thinking, just like what happened to Matsuri. Because of this, fans are on the lookout for the possible weaknesses that could bring Jura and his kind down to this day. Among the powerful techniques in the series, fans are speculating about the effects of lightning release against the Shinju Clones.
Otsutsuki Boruto, I believe you know this already, but I have come here to kill you.—Jura to Boruto
Since lightning release is implied to be stronger thanwood release, which the God Tree uses, it’s only natural to speculate this chakra nature to be their weakness. After all, Boruto and Sarada have already proven that the lightning release had a noticeable effect on the Divine Trees. They limited the Shinju’s movements, allowing them to create distance, regroup, and attack once more.
Now, fans are speculating about Jura’s stunned expression from the next chapter’s sneak peek being a side effect of Boruto’s lightning release. Whether the lightning release is truly effective against the Shinju Clones, fans will have to wait for more information in the upcoming chapters of theBorutomanga to find out.
