1A Dart For Every Man
Best SMG In The Game
A Dart for every Man is a modified SMG with the Disruption attribute, meaning that its specialized in shreding away even the highest tiers of Holtzman Shields. With the highest damage of all SMGs in the game, able to load up to 48 Darts, and with an extreme fire rate (600 RPM) this weapon spits a storm of projectiles faster than anything in Dune: Awakening.
Sadly, though it has extremely good attributes and recharge speed, it becomes evident that it eats ammunition at a huge rate. This forces players to carry a lot of Darts, and weight them down a bit. Still, being its only con, this weapon is the top of the meta both in PvP and PvE. Players can pick up its design from the Deep Desert PoIs, if they survive long enough to carry it back to their base, that is.
2The Ancient Way
The Most Powerful Weapon For Destroying Vehicles
Another of the blueprints found in the Deep Desert, The Ancient Way is a modified version of the Plasteel base model Rocket Launcher, which causes more damage (up to 918 per rocket) and blasts vehicles in a single shot. With enhanced blast radius, and an effective range of up to 150 Meters, it is one of the most lethal weapons to surprise a Clan in the middle of their mining operations.
This weapon is so good, that many players are demanding it to be nerfed, since it’s sowing terror in the hearts of every Deep Desert scout. But beware, a player aiming with this Rocket Laucher from an elevated position becomes a priority target for enemy players with extreme mobility, so players should invest in the Underslung Agility perk to avoid being caught off guard.
3Regis Disruptor Pistol
The Disruptor Pistol model has its highest quality version in the Regis Disruptor Pistol, a weapon designed to crush shields of higher-tier PvE enemies and Full Tier 7 Gear Players. One shot to the head with this beauty is enough to break any Holtzman generator, and in PvE, it can one-shot enemies right there on the spot. In PvP, the effectiveness of this weapon has been considerably nerfed, but it still constitutes a menace for unprepared players.
The downside is that it has a charge sequence that starts by holding the fire button, and while this also gives players enough time to aim, in a critical situation and without practice, the Disruptor Pistol is basically a toy. More so with the game making a strong emphasis on melee combat, andso many broken Swordmaster builds. Still, this gun is the pinnacle of small guns: It uses Heavy Darts, has great damage, and quite a lot of precision. Ideal for Mentat builds with the Marksman perks.
4Fivefinger’s Tripleshot Rifle
A Beast Of A Rifle That Causes Poison
The Fivefinger’s Tripleshot Rifle and its Tier 7 Version (Regis Tripleshot Repeating Rifle) are pinnacle weapons in terms of long-range damage. With a special type of shot that fires a quick burst of three shots in a low-spread pattern. When aiming at the head, this gun is absolutely lethal, and to top it off, it causes poisoning.
A little bit hard to control and aim, but once players have mastered it, they will not need another weapon for long-range takedowns. It doesn’t have the same range as a Sniper, but it’s way more versatile and it’s way harder to counter in PvP than a JABAAL Spitdart.
5Starburst
One Shots Nearly Anything
A Shotgun with the highest possible damage, that can shoot six times, scorch enemies, and make them burst into flames, and has considerable shield penetration. The Starburst is a surprise attack weapon that can one-shot any enemy that is not fast enough to put their shields on.
In PvP, it causes severe panic, since most of the PvP happens in zones where usingthe shield would attract the sandworm, so getting in with this weapon in the middle of an enemy Guild’s Spice operation is a recipe for carnage. On the downside, it consumes a lot of Light Darts (holds 36 per magazine), so players need to carry a lot of ammo.
6Black Market K-28 Lasgun
Powerful But Has A Catch
The Black Market K-28 Lasgun is a monster of a Heavy Gun, which causes energy damage, overcoming shields, defenses, and destroying anything at its moderate reach.A trooper equipped with this weaponis an unstoppable force. On the downside, having this means that players basically forfeit their Holtzman Shields, since the gun will consume all the energy in their generators to shoot.
But that also means they will never run out of ammo, and that in PvP is key, more so if players are positioned behind cover (the Mentat’s Shield Wall) and assisted by the Mentat’s Source of Power. A powerful combination that can wipe out entire enemy camps in a few seconds.
7Scorchbolt
Burn The World
The Scorchbolt is a massive flamethrower that works perfectly fine with the Trooper’s kit, and is boosted by its passives and Techniques to the point of turning it into a walking menace. The downside is its lack of range and mobility, because this gun spits flames at a moderate distance and poses a burden on whoever wields it.
The good part is that fire penetrates energy shields, and those annoying rusher melee enemies will burn like flies once they approach players carrying this gun. It’s also quite good in PvP, more so in Wrecks where enclosed spaces result in vicious skirmishes for the loot. Players better not be distracted when an enemy enters a PvP instance with this gun, or they will regret it.
8Abulurd’s Rapture
A Great SMG That Uses Heavy Darts
One of the things that draws more attention to this SMG is that instead of showering enemies with Light Darts to disrupt their shields, it has a two-dart per fire system of Heavy Darts, which overpenetrate shields and cause tremendous precision damage at short range. It’s the definitive short-range weapon for those who aim at the head.
The Abulurd’s Rapture comes with a Tier 7 Version that causes even more damage and has a bigger magazine size. The downside of this weapon is that it only causes moderate damage to the body. But that won’t be a problem for those combining Mentat and Trooper skills and passives.
9Regis Burst Drillshot
Best Shield Disruptor Shotgun
This beast of a Shotgun fires a sequence of two penetrating darts that pierce shields after a few seconds. Players need to hold the button (just like they do with the Disruptor Pistol) and presto: Enemies are gone. Its magazine has space for four Heavy Darts, and that means two shots per recharge, which is a bit annoying.
Its reload animation is the only thing that doesn’t make this gun the top of the list, since the damage it causes is way higher than what its stats indicate. Players using it in PvP will notice how a single shot can down an enemy, and it will look like they are cheating. But that’s the design of this weapon, which causes tons of damage by penetrating the Holtzman Shields of enemies, and bursting into shrapnel to destroy nearby enemies as well.
10Bashar’s Command
Best Gatling Gun In The Game
For those trying this weapon for the first time, a fair warning: Bring at least 4000 Light Darts, because it’s going to eat them in only a few minutes. It fires at incredible speed, causes tons of damage in a wide area, and drives enemies mad with its sustained suppression fire.
The ideal weapon for PvP, which is basically a modified version of the VULCAN gatling gun, only that this beauty also causes fire damage, like a flamethrower, penetrating shields and killing enemies before they can even reach the player. On the downside, it has one of the slowest recharge animations in the entire game, but that doesn’t matter if the one wielding it is a Trooper filled up with Spice, since they can recharge instantly after emptying a charger.
