There are only 4 vehicles inDeath Stranding 2, but each of them is fun and efficient in its own right. With unique properties like protection, speed, upgrades, and even cargo capacity, every vehicle inDeath Stranding 2deserves mention and ranking so that players know what they should use.

If players want to be effective in their next cargo delivery inDeath Stranding 2, then they might want to check in with the best vehicle to use, and how one might get the proper use out of it, along with where one can actually pick up one of these hot new rides.

The Floating Carrier is supposed to be used for carrying cargo, allowing Sam to load up one of these small devices with a heavy amount of cargo so that he can run freely with nothing more than a clip attached to his waist to drag this along. However, players can actually ignore its intended use and jump onto the Floating Carrier themselves to treat it like a floating skateboard. While it’s incredibly fun to use the Floating Carrier downhill, players aren’t going to get much speed if they attempt to use it uphill or on any straight road as opposed to other vehicles. The Floating Carrier is fun, but it’s not the most practical, especially whenSam might losehis balance and fall, thus breaking some precious cargo.

The Coffin Board has more uses than just being a creepy permanent tomb for Sam when he gets in trouble with BTs and MULEs. The primary use, and main selling point for many, is the fact that the Coffin Board can be used as a hoverboard that will see players effectively glide on land and water alike. The Coffin Board is great for traversing the tar and rivers without having to worry about stuck wheels, as the battery output is generous and the speed is thrilling. Even outside of its fun use of high speeds, drifts, and tricks, the Coffin Board can be used as a defensive measure, since players can hide inside to rest and block enemy attacks. However, the Coffin Board doesn’t make much use of players who want tocarry more cargo, and requires some skill to maintain.

Out of the Pickup Off-Roader and the Tri-Cruiser, there’s no definitive best vehicle inDeath Stranding 2, but the Pickup Off-Roader is the best vehicle when it comes to transporting cargo. Items feel safer in the Pickup Off-Roader because there’s a roof toprotect them from gunfire and timefall, and on top of that, the hefty wheels make terrain easier to traverse without damaging the contents inside. While the Pickup Off-Roader is a tad beefy and not the fastest vehicle in the game, there’s no vehicle that can contain the amount of cargo that this four-wheeler can, thus making it essential for players who are crossing Australia with an intense amount of cargo for both deliveries and material gathering to craft roads and monorails. Another incredible aspect of the Pickup Off-Roader is the attachments that can be used, like a device to shoot rubber bullets at hostiles, and another that automatically picks up lost cargo from the ground.

The Tri-Cruiser is exceptional for players who only want to focus on one order at a time. While the Tri-Cruiser will not be efficient at gathering tons of orders at once like the Pickup Off-Roader, it’s incredibly efficient for fast deliveries and for players who want to ignore difficult terrain to use a two-wheeler to wheely over difficult obstacles and jump across mountains. The Tri-Cruiser is the fastest vehicle inDeath Stranding 2, so if players have a long journey and only a few things to deliver, then this is the right vehicle, but its lack of cargo containment does leave much to be desired, but it’s hard to deny that time is saved so efficientlywhen Sam is behindthe wheel of this bike instead of any other vehicle.
