Saber is a Wind Destruction unit inHonkai: Star Rail, and she’s all about laying down as much AoE damage as possible. She’s great for any sort of content against multiple enemies, but with the right build and team composition, she’ll be effective in almost any scenario.
If you’re a fan of watching pretty lights hit for big damage numbers, then Saber is definitely the servant for you. This guide covers how to build Saber, from her preferred Light Cones to the stats you need to make the King of Knights shine inHonkai: Star Rail.
On the Fall of an Aeon

Aim for a crit ratio of at least 1:2, and ensure Saber is faster than your support units by at least one point (though the latter might not always apply to all supports).
Saber is a DPS hypercarry, which means she works best if her entire team is focused on making her as strong as possible. Since she primarily scales off ATK, players will want to build her how they would traditionalDPS characters like The Hertaor Argenti. Focus on getting ATK and CRIT stats while keeping her SPD relatively high (134 or any value slighter faster than your support’s SPD).
Best Relic Sets for Saber in Honkai: Star Rail - HSR
As a Wind Destruction character whorelies on dealing direct damage with her Ultimate, Saber has three viable Relic Set options (as listed above).Waverider Captainis arguably the best choice here, as she’ll often be targeted bythe team’s support units, and she’ll be spamming her Ultimate throughout the fight. This Relic Set gives its wearer stacks of “Help,” which increases their attack when consued after using an Ultimate.
The second-best option is the ever-reliableEagle of Twilight Line, which boosts Wind DMG and advances the wearer’s action by 35% after they use their Ultimate. It’s perfect for Saber, though Waverider Captain tends to crank out bigger numbers in a well-rounded team.
Lastly, we haveScholar Lost in Erudition, which bumps up its wearer’s CRIT Rate and Ultimate DMG while also buffing the damage dealt by their next Skill. Saber will be using her Ultimate a lot, and this set will bump up her damage output nicely.
