Rock Bottom With Just 6 Points From 17 Games
Almost halfway through the season, Southampton were not only bottom of the table but also on track to finish with the lowest points tally inPremier Leaguehistory. In real life, they were unable to survive and only avoided equaling the record by one point. However, inFC 25, players have the chance to turn around the fortunes of the Saints and steer them to safety.
For more immersion, players can take over on 23rd December 2024, which is roughly the same time that Ivan Juric was appointed manager, taking over from the recently sacked head coach, Russell Martin. This is just in time for the January transfer window.

Take Over This Struggling Giant & Join A Tight Race For European Places
Borussia Dortmund is a side that needs no introduction, but on February 3rd, 2025, they found themselves in 11th place. While they were only 3 points off 5th, the Champions League places were further out of reach. However, this didn’t stop new appointee, Niko Kovac, from leading them to 4th eventually.
Niko Kovac is even available to play as for more immersion, and Dortmund are still in the Champions League at this stage, with an upcoming playoff game against Sporting Lisbon. The only downside to this start date is that the transfer window just ended, so players can’tsign new starsuntil the summer.

Rescue Them From Rock Bottom
Rags-to-riches playthroughshave always been popular, but to add to the challenge, players can start as Carlisle United, at rock bottom of League 2, more than halfway through the season. Their previous manager, Mike Williamson, was sacked on 3rd February 2025 and replaced by big-time coach Mark Hughes a few days later.
Players can either create Mark Hughes and potentially copy his playstyle, or, seeing as he wasn’t able to save them from relegation in real life, create their own manager. At this point, Carlisle are 5 points from safety with 17 games of the season left. They have a good squad and money to spend, thanks to a recent takeover, but that will only matter if players can lead them to safety.
