After the revolutionary update forClash Royaleearlier this month that featured a new card and a new game mode, the latest event revolves around Spirit Empress as expected. For this event, players will get to build the best deck around this new card and figure out which units work best next to her.

Spirit Empress is the first card ever inClash Royalethat comes in two different variants, with both being available to the player during a match. When the player has less than 6 Elixir points in the bank, the 3-Elixir variant will be available, which is a ground troop. However, as soon as the Elixir storage hits 6, Spirit Empress switches to the 6-Elixir variant, which is an aerial unit.

The player cannot deploy the 3-Elixir version once the 6-Elixir variant is activated.

Best Decks For The Spirit Empress Event In Clash Royale

Havinglong enough experience with Spirit Empresswill prove that the 6-Elixir version is much stronger than the ground variant of the card. Not only is the damage output slightly bigger, but 6-Elixir Spirit Empress is also an aerial unit, and not every card can counter it.

That’s why the decks below all focus on using the 6-Elixir variant during the match, unless you have to use the 3-Elixir version. Since the Spirit Empress can only target one enemy with each shot, it’s best to deploy it with a support unit, especially when the opponent has cards like Bats, Minions, or Witch.

Firecracker And Witch Deck

Since every deck will feature the Spirit Empress, it’s wise to always bring a counter for this card. Witch and Bats are both effective counters to the Spirit Empress, with the former distracting her with the skeletons and the latter killing the Spirit Empress at a very low cost.

Giant is the unit that is supposed to draw all attention to himself and help Spirit Empress land her shots at enemies and crown towers from the air. The Fireball can be quite effective in significantly targeting troops that are spawned behind the crown tower, and it can be a good winning condition when the match is close.

Executioner And Dart Goblin Deck

While not as effective as Witch,Executioner is also a good counterto Spirit Empress, and the fact that he can target more than one enemy allows him to deal damage to the support units behind Spirit Empress as well (if you nail the deployment).

Dart Goblin will play a similar role to the Firecracker in the previous deck. The goal for it is to be a cheap but effective support for any high-cost troop. Skeleton Giant replaces Giant. The extra Elixir here is worth spending, as Skeleton Giant will force the opponent to spend as many Elixir points as they can to prevent the tanky unit from reaching the crown tower.

The primary winning edge of this deck over the first one is Boss Bandit. It’s currently the best champion card inClash Royale, and it can deal devastating damage to any structure or even a tanky unit. The only cards that can counter Boss Banditare mass spam like Skeleton Army or Goblin Gang, and that’s why this deck also offers The Log to support Boss Bandit on her missions.
