Hunt characters inHonkai: Star Railhave a lot of Light Cones that increase their Crit value because most of their kits solely focus on dealing DMG. That makes building them easier since all they need is Crit and ATK%, and they’re ready to go. However, some characters, like Archer, have mechanics that can take advantage of some Light Cones more than others. For that, here are thebest Light Cones for Archer inHSR.
S5 Effect
Increases the wearer’s ATK by 32%. If there are 2 or fewer enemies on the field, increases wearer’s Crit Rate by 24%.
Archer is a character that scales with ATK% and gets a lot of Crit DMG from his Trace passive. For that, giving him a Light Cone likeOnly Silence Remainsthat increase his ATK% and Crit Rate is beneficial to his gameplay. With more ATK%, Archer deals more DMG, while with more Crit Rate, Archer is guaranteed to take advantage of all the Crit DMG he builds upfrom his kit and his team inHSR.
Increases the wearer’s ATK by 20%. When the wearer lands a Crit hit on enemies, gains 1 stack of Good Fortune. This can stack up to 4 time(s). Every stack of Good Fortune increases the wearer’s Crit DMG by 12%. Good Fortune will be removed at the end of the wearer’s turn.
Final Victoris also a decent 4-star Light Cone for Archer since it grants him ATK% and Crit DMG from its passive effect. He needs a lot of Crit Rate to ensure he quickly builds up the Good Fortune stacks, which willnotably increase his Crit DMG, especially on S5. Another Light Cone that needs building up and is good for Archer isSwordplay, which increases DMG if Archer keeps hitting the same enemy; an easy feat for Archer, as he can cast his Skill multiple times in a turn.
S1/S5 Effect
Increases the wearer’s Crit DMG by 24/40%. The Skill DMG and Follow-up ATK DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 24/40%.
While it’s a 4-star Light cone,See You at the Endis not an F2P option for Archer, given it’s a BP weapon. Still, See You at the End is one of the best 4-star Light Cones for Archer since it grants him the Crit DMG he needs, in addition to a lot of extra DMG on his Skill, which is themain source of DPSin Archer’s kit.
Effect
Increases the wearer’s Crit DMG by 20%. For every debuff on the enemy target, the wearer’s Crit DMG dealt against this target additionally increases by 8%, stacking up to 3 times. When using Ultimate to attack the enemy target, the wearer receives the Disputation effect, which increases DMG dealt by 36% and enables their follow-up attacks to ignore 24% of the target’s DEF. This effect lasts for 2 turns.
Getting into the 5-star options, Archer can use theBaptism of Pure Thoughteffectively if he has a Nihility unit in the team, like Silver Wolf. Ensuring Archer’s target is debuffed enough to maximize the Light Cone’s requirement will allow Archer to deal more DMG, especially with his Follow-up attacks. It’s not an ideal Light Cone for Archer, but the Crit DMG buffs make it an acceptable choice.

Increases the wearer’s Crit Rate by 16%, and increases their Crit Rate against enemies with HP less than or equal to 50% by an extra 16%. When the wearer defeats an enemy, their ATK is increased by 40% for 2 turn(s).
Cruising in the Stellar Seais an F2P Light Cones for Archer inHonkai: Star Rail. It gives him a decent Base stats alongside Crit Rate and the ability to significantly increase Archer’s ATK% when he defeats an enemy. The Hell Where Ideals Burnis Archer’s Signature Light Cone inHSR. It’s his best-in-slot because it gives him exactly what his top-tier Light Cones give, but much better.
The Hell Where Ideals Burn grants Archer a 16% Crit Rate, comparable to other 5-star Light Cones. However, when it comes to the ATK% buff, The Hell Where Ideals Burn increases Archer’s ATK% by a whopping 80%. The first 40% is because he increases the team’s maximum Skill Points limit, and another 40% Archer gets slowly as he keeps casting his Skill.
