For anyone who enjoysRematch,Rocket Leagueis by far the best recommendation, although due to its popularity, many will have already played it or at least know about it.Rocket Leagueis essentially football with cars instead of human players and is as fun and hectic as it sounds. Best of all, it is free-to-play!

While cars cannot finesse the ball and pull off fancy flicks as much as is possible inRematch, players may be surprised to learnjust how much can be achieved inRocket League. For example, dribbling in midair is one of the most impressive skills ever seen in the gaming world, and well-timed jumps can lead to incredible goals. The games are typically 3 v 3 and always fast-paced, with players able to bounce the ball off the walls, just like inRematch.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Championsis similar in a number ways toRematch, despite the two sports being vastly different. Both games are played in third-person with similar graphics, but the nature of Quidditch means that there are more roles to try out, such as Seeker and Beater, meaning there are more ways to experience the game.

UnlikeRematch, passes somewhat lock on inQuidditch Championsfor better or worse, but this can be a good thing for those who findRematcha tad too hard. Players are also able to customize their characters for each role, with various traitsand broomstailored to certain playstyles. For those who prefer playing against the AI with varying difficulty levels rather than always facing real players,Quidditch Championshas exhibition matches and a few tournaments, including the Quidditch World Cup.

If players have been living under a rock for the past few years, then they may be unaware that theFifaseries of football games is now under a new name, and the latest installment,EA Sports FC 25, introduceda new 5 v 5 mode, which may be of interest toRematchplayers. Rush, which can be experienced as part of Ultimate Team, Career Mode youth matches, and Pro Clubs with friends, is a mix between classic 5-a-side and real football.

For example, there are no walls to bounce the ball off, and fouls are a part of the game, with players possibly getting temporarily sin-binned. As it uses the base gameplay and mechanics ofEA Sports FC 25, players can also expect a more realistic time than inRematch, although with each real player having their own stats, the playing field isn’t necessarily as even. Naturally, players will also have access to the rest of the game, where 11-a-side is the norm. Previous entries in the series also had a mode called Volta, which does feature walls on much smaller pitches.

Knockout Cityis a dodgeball game where players aren’t limited to one side of a court, with chaotic battles instead being played out on sci-fi city maps. With balls locking onto targets, aiming isn’t as big of a deal as it is inRematch, withthe skill insteadbeing about timing, moving, and dodging.

For example, players will want to pretend to throw the ball to make their opponent dive early, and choosing the right throw for the situation is crucial, with a few variations available. Team play also factors into success, with allies ideally overwhelming a target who cannot dodge two balls at once. Unfortunately, after some initial success, the official servers were shut down. Thankfully, Velan Studios releasedKnockout City - Private Server Editionon Steam, meaning PC players can still enjoy it for free.

Roller Championsis a free-to-play arcade sports game like few others. Players form teams of three, and with the ball in possession, they try to complete a lap on roller skates, dodging tackles, and passing before eventually scoring through a hoop.

This gets even more hectic when wall-skating, dunking, andother fun skillsare added into the mix, and teams can push their luck by trying to complete more laps before scoring in order to gain more points. The game has a vibrant art style, not too dissimilar fromRematch, and naturally, there is a lot of character customization.

WhileSifuis not an arcade sports game, it is nevertheless created bythe developers ofRematch, Sloclap, and so might appeal to those impressed by the former. It is a Kung Fu brawler played in third-person, featuring a similar art style toRematch, especially when it comes to the character models.

LikeRematch, players may not have the easiest time at first and will get beaten up a lot as they learn the mechanics. However, given some time to learn, the combat can become some of the most satisfying ever experienced. The AI opponents do not wait for the player to initiate fights, and feel as if they fully think for themselves.
