There are multiple random events inUmamusume: Pretty Derby’s career mode, and some of them afflict your trainee with various conditions. Most of these are injuries or negative status effects that hinder yourUmamusume’s training, but some conditions are actually helpful and make things a lot easier.
There are a few things you can do to influence the conditions that show up during yourUmamusumecareer runs, but things are ultimately left up to chance. Even something as simple as resting — which every character needs to do eventually — can result in a negative status effect that you need to deal with. Here areall the conditions you can encounter inUmamusume: Pretty Derby, both good and bad.

Most conditions inUmamusume: Pretty Derbycan be removed with a visit to the Infirmary, but even then, a single Infirmary trip isn’t a guarantee that your trainee will heal. Sometimes, you’ll have to waste two or three turns to fix your Umamusume’s condition. Some conditions (like Slacker) are basically run killers, so be careful.
Some conditions are exclusive to certain Umamusume, such as Super Creek’s Shining Brightly buff. Keep that in mind when choosing your next career trainee.
Conditions are an important part ofUmamusume’s career mode, and they can make or break your run if you encounter them. If you get a good condition like Fast Learner or Hot Topic, you’ll have a much greater chance of winning races and making itall the way to the URA Finale.
