There are 17 layers inDonkey Kong Bananza, most of which arebroken up into multiple sub-layers. Players will need to make their way through all of them if they want to see the end credits, although finding all of the collectibles along the way is thankfully not a requirement.
Players can burn through the main story ofDonkey Kong Bananzain around ten to twelve hours, although most will likely find themselves getting distracted on their way to the finish line. This is because everyDK Bananzalayer is packed full of side content, from challenges to collectibles.

Donkey Kong Bananzais a bit of a collectathon, with 777 Banandium Gems for players to track down in total. Most of these can be obtained during a regular playthrough, although some are locked away in the post-game. There are also just shy of 700 fossils to dig up, with mostDK Bananzalayers having at least 30. Thankfully, for those having trouble finding them all, it’s possible to dig up treasure maps oruse DK’s Sonar ability, both of which can make finding all of the collectibles inDonkey Kong Bananzaa whole lot easier!
