The launch of theEdge of Fateexpansion forDestiny 2saw the addition of armor set effects that greatly alter how buildcrafting works in the game. These effects range from increasing damage against shields, boosting Guardian movement speed, and more.

Armor set effects are real game changers, and players will want to make their builds around these sets if they want to conquerDestiny 2’srevamped difficulties and challenges.

All Set Armor Perks in Destiny 2

Armor sets have two-piece and four-piece bonuses, giving players a nice degree of flexibility when it comes tobuilding their characters inDestiny 2. These effects will remain active for as long as players are wearing their associated armor pieces, though some effects may have pre-requisite conditions before they become useful.

Effect

Techsec (Fireteam Ops)

2-Piece (Wrecker):Deal significantly increased Kinetic damage against combatant shields, overshields, vehicles, and constructs (Barricades, Stasis Crystals, turrets, and other objects in the field).

4-Piece (Concussive Rounds):Defeating Powerful combatants or breaking a combatant shield with Kinetic damage releases a disorienting Kinetic shockwave.

Aion Renewal (Kepler Activities)

2-Piece (Force Converter):After a Final Blow with any Grenade Launcher or Rocket Launcher, sprint for a short time to gain a Speed Booster.

4-Piece (Reactive Booster):Once after triggering Force Converter, sprinting while at critical health, being suspended, or being slowed by a Stasis effect will immediately grant Speed Booster for a short duration.

Bushido (Fireteam Ops)

2-Piece (Iaido):Final Blows with freshly drawn or reloaded weapons heal you.

4-Piece (Unfaltering Focus):Bow, Shotgun, or Sword Final Blows temporarily reduce incoming damage. Damaging targets with those weapons extend the effect.

Last Discipline (Crucible)

2-Piece (Terminal Velocity):Final Blows with primary ammo weapons grant primary ammo weapons temporarily increased reload speed.

4-Piece (Power Loader):Picking up an Orb of Power grants special ammo progress.

Aion Adapter

2-Piece (Force Absorption):Final blows with Grenade Launchers or Rocket Launchers temporarily decrease incoming area damage.

4-Piece (Reactive Shock):Taking melee damage while Force Absorption is active causes you to emit a disorienting burst once.

Two-Fold Crown (Trials of Osiris)

2-Piece (Crook and Flail):Picking up an ammo brick heals you.

4-Piece (Gift of Sight):Final Blows with primary ammo weapons give you briefly increased radar resolution.
