1Don’t Forget to Give the Boss Artifacts to Tao Qing
They Aren’t Just Trophies
From every major boss fight, starting from the first one withMaster Raider - Man-Eating Dhutanga, you’ll receive artifacts from them that seemingly have no use inWuchang Fallen Feathers. However, they aren’t just boss trophies for you to collect, but serve a functional purpose in the game.
After dealing with every major boss, make sure to return to Tao Qing, whom you first encounter in the Revenant Temple and then later inside the Shu Sanctum. Handing over the boss artifacts to Tao Qing will unlock exclusive boss armor sets and weapons that can be purchased with Red Mercury.
2Check the Donation Box for Missed Items
No Items Left Behind
The purpose of the Donation Box isn’t to help players claim theirpre-order and deluxe edition itemsat the beginning.It also stores all the unclaimed itemsthat enemies drop as you make your way through various areas of the game. If you forgot to pick something up, it’ll show up inside the Donation Box for you to retrieve.
So, make sure to frequently check the donation box for any valuable consumables or throwables that will benefit you in the tougher sections ofWuchang Fallen Feathers.
3Switch to the Classic Camera Perspective
Whatever Feels Comfortable
By default, the game’scamera perspective is selected as Stand-Off. While this is a cool, cinematic way to experience the combat inWuchang Fallen Feathers, soulslike veterans may have some trouble adjusting to this shift in perspective.
If the auto-rotating camera is bugging you, and you need a more accurate and static view of the enemies when you lock on, switch to the Classic Perspective.It does not constantly move the camera and keeps it centered, preventing players from getting disoriented, especially during boss fights.
4Only Use Red Mercury Consumables When Level Up Is Confirmed

In addition to that, make sure to knowhow much Red Mercury you need for the next level, and confirm if consuming the Red Mercury items in your inventory will help you get there. If you have enough Red Mercury items to get you to the next level, feel free to consume them; otherwise, save them for later.
5Use Madness to Your Advantage
Double-Edged Sword
Madness is one of the major combat mechanics inWuchang Fallen Feathers, as it increases your damage output in exchange for more damage received. While it’s a double-edged sword, you’re able to use this mechanic to your advantage.
verify to practice the surprisingly forgiving evasion mechanic in the game, so you don’t receive any hits from enemies, but deal additional damage. It encourages a moreglass-cannon playstyle, which can be appealing to some players.
However, if you want tofarm consumable items like healing pills, you’re able to simply claim them from the Invoke menu to raise Madness to the max. Once your madness is max, quickly die from an enemy, and either beat or get defeated by the madness demon that spawns on top of your dropped Red Mercury. This will reset the Madness gauge, allowing you to claim more items from the invoke menu and do this all over again.
6Add Temperance to the Item Quick Use Slot

Tempering is another core mechanic inWuchang Fallen Feathersthat allows you toadd additional effects to your weapon strikes. It’s a great mechanic to use, especially when taking on harder bosses. You can insert different needles with various effects into the acupoint slots in the Temper menu. However, they don’t activate passively.
To activate the Tempering, you’ll need to head into the quick slot menu andequip the Temperance item. This item will be replenished every time you visit a shrine and will allow you toactivate the effects of the selected Tempering needle.
